The Dutch planted the first Arabica trees in Java early in coffee's history. It's name has become synonymous with coffee in the U.S., and is often the standard for which all other coffees are measured. Java's finest golden beans are roasted to yield a piquant aroma. Java displays an exquisite acid balance, a medium body with hints of chocolate like undertones and a quicker finish than Sumatran.
